LEAP Summit brings people from all over the world at one place in order to solve most pressing challenges of our time. The client wanted to create as impressive website as the conference is popular among the young student population.
Since the conference is gathering more than 2,000 changemakers, we decided to go beyond the web development and sponsor the whole conference as the Bronze Sponsor. However, our primary objective was still to develop, according to the client’s brief, a mobile-responsive website that attractively cover all aspects of the conference, from speakers to the schedule.
After we conducted the audit of the old’s website, we concluded that we need to align LEAP Summit’s visual identity to the website’s look and feel in a more authentic way, improve the content management system, and implement more attractive and visually appealing features.
First, we made the new website completely user-friendly. Our goal was to make user experience as good as possible for all the website visitors in order to achieve high attendance of the conference. On the home page we included all the most important elements of the Summit like the video from the last year, key facts numbers, prominent speakers, photo gallery, partners and sponsors, and others.
It is good to note that we enabled users to access application form and schedule in just one click from anywhere on the page. The most important and most complex part of the website we developed is the schedule. Users can easily check the timeline of all the lectures and events on the conference. It is also optimised for all devices and easy to update (website administration).
When it comes to design, the website looks modern, but still contains bright colors of LEAP Summit’s visual identity. We used white background with gradients in their colors combined with the box shadows on the elements.
