Intro

At ForgeBIT, we always look for ways to combine creativity, teamwork, and positive impact. For our latest teambuilding, we wanted to do something that wasn’t just about building internal relationships, but also about giving back.

That’s how Pawsome Matchmakers came to life – a unique teambuilding activity that brought our team together for a full day at a local animal shelter. Partnering with Brit, LuÄŤ Zagorja, and Udruga PalÄŤić Gore, we spent the day helping dogs find their forever homes while developing creative content to support the shelter’s mission.

Brief

The goal of Pawsome Matchmakers was simple but meaningful: to bring our team closer by engaging in an activity with a higher purpose – helping shelter dogs get adopted. The plan was to spend the day with the dogs at the shelter, grooming them, taking them on walks, and creating social media content to increase their chances of adoption. By highlighting their unique personality traits through photos and videos, we wanted to connect these beautiful animals with potential adopters.

As part of the event, we also took on additional responsibilities:

  • Designing and creating social media posts and a posting plan for LuÄŤ Zagorja, to enhance their online presence.
  • Ensuring everything needed for grooming, walking and photographing the dogs – brushes, wipes, leashes, photo props and a lot of positive energy and patience.
  • Creating photo albums filled with pictures of the dogs, which could be used for further adoption promotions.
  • Filming and editing a video, which we posted on social media and YouTube, supported by a full social media campaign to boost the visibility of the shelter and the adoption program.

Highlights

Collaboration Of Teams, Partners & Clients

Pawsome Matchmakers was more than just a day with the dogs. It involved collaboration with partners to ensure that the event was defined from start to finish. Our dear client Brit provided a huge donation of high-quality dog food and treats for both dogs and cats in the shelter, Udruga Palčić Gore helped with custom uniforms for our team, and Luč Zagorja supported the initiative by working with us on social media plans and helping with the dogs.

The partnership with Luč Zagorja went beyond the day’s activities - we created a complete design and posting plan for their social media platforms, allowing them to continue promoting the shelter and the dogs even after the event ended.

These partnerships and collaborations helped ensure that the day felt organized and made on a high level, while also giving us the chance to highlight the participation of our partners.

Creative Content for a Greater Cause

One of our core strengths at ForgeBIT is creating powerful digital content, and this event gave us the chance to use that skill for a good cause. We didn’t just take pictures of the dogs – we created full photo albums that could be used by the shelter for ongoing promotion. We also filmed and edited a video showcasing the whole day spent at LuÄŤ Zagorja, which we shared across social media and YouTube. This video was part of a broader campaign we ran on both social media and YouTube, aimed at raising awareness about the shelter and encouraging people to adopt.

Social Media Campaign

In addition to the video, we developed a social media strategy for the campaign. This included creating a series of posts that were designed to tell the story of this special teambuilding, featuring the photos we took, videos we filmed and memories we created. We also crafted a design template for LuÄŤ Zagorja, giving them a helping hand to keep posting on social platforms after the event.

Outcome

The Pawsome Matchmakers event delivered results both for the shelter and for our team. Through the social media posts, video, and photo albums, we increased the online visibility of the shelter’s dogs.

Our team’s efforts didn’t stop with just one day. By creating a full social media and design template for Luč Zagorja, we gave them the tools to continue promoting the dogs.

The photo albums we created have become a valuable resource for the shelter, helping them to showcase the dogs in a more personal and appealing way, which in turn improves the chances of adoption.

For ForgeBIT, this was more than just a teambuilding activity. It was a chance to use our professional skills in a different context and to see the impact that digital marketing can have in the real world. The team left the event not only more connected to each other but also proud of the work we had done to help the shelter and the dogs.

In the end, Pawsome Matchmakers was an experience that combined creativity, teamwork, and social responsibility in a way that felt truly rewarding. It reinforced our mindset that teambuilding can, and should, be about more than just fun – it can also be about making a change.
